Project Manager (Heavy Civil/Wastewater Treatment):

Oversee and manage heavy civil and wastewater treatment plant projects from planning through completion, ensuring all work follows approved plans, specifications, and schedules and ensuring full compliance with contract documents, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements. Lead daily field operations, directing crews, subcontractors, and equipment resources to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6, tracking progress, forecast impacts, and maintaining critical path visibility. Oversee project budgets by monitoring job costs, evaluating variances, and implementing corrective strategies to maintain financial performance. Review and approve invoices, change orders, and cost reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with project objectives. Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, owners, and vendors to resolve technical issues and maintain project momentum and schedules. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards and implementation of corrective actions. Prepare detailed progress reports, financial updates, and documentation for senior management and project stakeholders. Utilize Viewpoint Vista for cost tracking and financial reporting, and WinEst for estimating and pricing analysis. Supervise and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators by assigning daily work activities and monitoring jobsite productivity and performance. Manage the installation, operation, and maintenance of construction wastewater treatment systems, monitoring treatment processes to maintain environmental and regulatory compliance. Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and work plans to ensure proper execution of heavy civil construction activities. Monitor manpower, equipment, and material usage, preparing progress updates and operational reports for senior management. Lead and manage the full project team on the job site, providing daily direction, oversight, and guidance to ensure efficient and safe project execution. Support project financial management by reviewing invoices, evaluating change orders, monitoring labor and equipment costs, and assisting with forecasting and cost reporting. Support construction cost estimating activities, including quantity takeoffs, pricing analysis, and preparation of estimates for heavy civil and wastewater treatment projects. Will supervise employees. Will work in unanticipated project locations throughout the U.S.  Requires OSHA-30 Hour Construction Safety certificate. Requires Masters in Civil Engineering, or related and 2 years experience in the job offered, Assistant Project Manager, or related. 2 years must include experience with: (1) using Primavera P6 for construction project scheduling, progress tracking, and schedule updates, (2) using Viewpoint Vista for construction project management, job cost tracking, cost control, financial reporting, and budget monitoring, and (3) using WinEst software to perform construction cost estimating, quantity takeoffs, and estimate development.
